Margaret writes memoir and creative nonfiction. She has a special talent for bringing aspects of people and their landscapes alive within the stories she writes. Her love is nature and the outdoors.
She lives in Maine with her husband, three of their four children and five grandchildren. Although originally from the Philadelphia area, she has lived in Ireland, Scotland, and Switzerland, where she attended school.
She graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a BFA in Creative Writing. She has taught writing in adult education and community college classes. She has published poetry and worked as a freelance writer for three Maine newspapers from 1990-2010.
